Muay Thai is one of the most popular combat sport in Thailand that utilizes stand up striking along with various clinching techniques. It is characterized by the combined use of the fists, elbows, knees and legs. Muay Thai had become the hottest fitness and martial art trend internationally, which attracted a number of celebrities using this sport to keep fit.

Enhancing the cardiopulmonary function: within a 60 mins session practice, Muay Thai uses every muscle in your body. Other than having a large volume of high intensity circuit training, Muay Thai also requires full body movement to attack including but not limited to your fists, elbows, knees and legs. The range of attack varies from short, medium and long. With different speed, strength and interval training, Muay Thai incorporates a variety of cardio exercises which improves your cardiovascular endurance more effectively. 

 

Core muscles enhancement and stability: one key highlight of Muay Thai practice is kicking. Huge amount of rotation with your jabs, crosses, push kicks are highly beneficial to strengthen your core muscles. Through targeting pad practice with your trainer, your core strength is developed with better muscle strength and endurance, which in turn will improve the coordination of limbs and your ability to focus.

 

泰拳

泰拳,是泰國的傳統搏擊技術,特點是可以在極短的距離下,使用拳、腳、膝、肘進行攻擊。泰拳都是近年流行和普及的運動,大多數男/女明星和模特兒都推廣及透過泰拳修身。

增強心肺功能:在60分鐘的泰拳訓練中,要做大量循環訓練外,在練習泰拳時,要使用拳、手肘、膝、腳去攻擊,攻擊範圍包括近、中、遠,在訓練中需要以不同速度、力度及節奏進行,所以絕對能訓練出極佳的心肺功能。


使核心肌群更強壯:泰拳練習時出拳踢腳都會以核心肌群作穩定及發力,60分鐘的泰拳訓練已經可以大大加強核心肌群能力。

透過對靶練習時,加強學員反應及肌肉爆發性,同時亦訓練集中力及手腳協調能力。
